North Pacific Fuel serves three communities along Alaska’s coast, Dutch Harbor, Kodiak, and Valdez, providing fuel to commercial, government, and residential customers. The company has operated in these locations for nearly 30 years.
North Pacific Fuel is part of Petro Star, Alaska’s only locally owned petroleum refining and marketing company. Petro Star’s refinery in Valdez supplies fuel to North Pacific Fuel facilities.

The facility includes approximately 50,000 barrels of storage supplying heating oil, propane, ultra‑low sulfur diesel, and gasoline.To support the fishing industry, the Kodiak location offers marine fueling and supplies from a 200‑foot dock and a 40‑foot fuel float. The facility also maintains an on‑site warehouse stocking lubricants, oils, filters, degreasers, and related parts.
